You are bidding on a vintage Ball Official RR Standard railroad-approved wrist watch, Swiss made, probably ca. early 1960s. This watch features a yellow gold-filled screwback case, a 21-jewel chronometer-grade manual-wind movement, and a white dial with black numerals. The case is in very good condition, showing signs of occasional wear. The movement runs and keeps excellent time (Note: the hack lever is missing so the second hand does not stop when the crown is pulled out into the setting position). The dial is in excellent original condition. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. This watch measures 34.5mm diameter (without crown). Fitted with a leather strap. This is a great crossover collectible of interest to both watch collectors and railroad buffs. You can own this very high grade, attractive, ready-to-wear vintage watch that meets all the criteria for railroad service, for $499.99/obo.
