Benchmark (by Gerber) vintage “Rolox” pocket knife, made in USA ca. 1983. This knife has a rather unusual means of opening and closing. To open, one pushes down on the back of the blade and slides the blade forward until it locks into position. To close, one pushes in the locking lever with one hand while sliding the blade back into the handle with the other hand. The knife features a stainless steel drop point blade and a black composite handle. Excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional handling and very light pocket carry. The blade appears to be 100% intact. Length closed: 4″. Length open: 6-1/2″. The Rolox knives were made for only a few years, and are very collectible today.
