Offered for sale is a vintage Bulova model 3818A U.S. military issue wrist watch from the period between the Korean War and the Vietnam War, ca. 1960. A watch nearly identical to this one was featured in the April 2012 issue of GQ Magazine. This watch features a stainless steel case, a 16-jewel manual-wind movement with hacking device (stops the second hand when the crown is pulled out to the setting position), and a black dial with luminous numerals. The case is in very good condition, showing signs of normal wear. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. The dial is in excellent original condition. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to wear or present as a gift to a person who collects military timepieces. Size: 32mm diameter. This is a great crossover collectible of interest to both watch collectors and military buffs.
