Offered for sale is a vintage fixed-blade hunting knife, made in USA by W. R. Case & Sons, probably ca. 1940s. This knife features a carbon steel upswept blade with a chromium finish and thumb grooves, a nickel-silver finger guard, full-tang construction, a very nice stag horn handle and an aluminum pommel. The blade is 5-7/8″ long and 1/8″ thick at the hilt. Overall length is 10-1/4″. The knife is in very good condition overall, especially considering its age. The blade shows some minor pitting in a few spots, and appears to be at least 99% intact. The handle is excellent, showing no cracks or chips. The blade is tang-stamped CASE. There is no sheath with this knife. This knife is very well made, and will provide many more years of service with proper care.
