Offered for sale is an antique Elgin (USA) open-faced pocket watch, probably ca. 1920s. This is a 12-size watch, and measures approximately 43mm (1-3/4″) diameter. This watch features a Fahys white gold filled cushion-shaped case with a very fancy filigree pattern around the bezel and fancy engine-turned designs on the back, a 15-jewel stem-wind stem-set movement, and a single-sunk painted metal dial. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of light pocket carry. The dial appears to be an older refinish of very good quality. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. You can own this high grade, super clean American-made pocket watch, for $399.99/obo.
