Offered for sale is a vintage Eterna wrist watch, Swiss-made, probably ca. 1930s. This watch features a solid stainless steel Deco style rectangular case of an early waterproof design that is held together with four screws (note: one of the screws appears to have been replaced and is not a perfect fit), a 17-jewel manual-wind movement, and a black dial with gold hour markers. The case is in very good condition, showing signs of occasional wear. The movement runs and keeps good time. The dial appears original, and shows a patina appropriate for its age. I installed a new G-S acrylic crystal in September 2018. Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. This watch measures 22mm wide x 38mm lug-to-lug. Signed case, dial, and movement. Fitted with a leather strap. You can own this very high grade, attractive, ready-to-wear vintage watch from one of the world’s most highly regarded makers, for $499.99.
