You are bidding on an antique Hamilton #992B (USA) open-faced railroad pocket watch, probably ca. 1940s. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2″) diameter. This watch features a Model #11 yellow gold filled screw back and bezel case, a 21-jewel adjusted stem-wind lever-set movement, and a double-sunk melamine dial with Arabic numerals. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of very light pocket carry. The dial is in excellent condition, except for a minor blemish in the seconds bit. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. Included with the watch is its original velvet-lined celluloid box, outer box, and guarantee paper. The serial number of the watch matches the number on the outer box. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. Although the Hamilton 992B watches are relatively common, they are very hard to find with their original boxes and papers. You can own this very high grade, super clean American-made pocket watch, for $899.99/obo.
