Offered for sale is an antique Hampden John Hancock railroad pocket watch, made in Canton, Ohio USA ca. 1890. This is a 18-size watch, and measures approximately 60mm diameter. This watch features a gold-filled screw-back-and-bezel case, a 21-jewel stem-wind lever-set movement, and a white double-sunk porcelain dial. The watch has a red and black double hour hand that can indicate time in two time zones simultaneously. This was useful for railroad engineers when crossing time zones. The case is in fair condition, showing signs of daily pocket carry and some minor brassing. The dial is in excellent condition. The movement runs and keeps very good time. Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride. You can own this high grade, American-made pocket watch, for $399.99.
