Category: .

Product Description

Offered for sale is a custom handmade fixed-blade fighting knife, made in USA by John Greco, probably ca. 1980s.  John Greco worked under the legendary knifemaker Jimmy Lile, and eventually became a highly accomplished knifemaker in his own right.  This knife features a clip-point blade with a false edge on the top and a non-reflective bead-blasted finish, full tang construction, double lanyard holes, and black paper micarta handle scales.  The blade is 7″ long (6″ cutting edge).  The balde is made from 0.264″ stock, and is more than 1/4″ thick at the hilt.  Overall length is 12″.  The blade is tang stamped Greco on one side, and 5 on the other side.  The knife is in excellent condition overall except for some minor staining on the blade, and appears unused with its original edge.  The handle scales are in excellent condition.  The fit and finish is superb.  The knife includes a nylon sheath.  This knife is very well made, and will provide many years of service with proper care.  Or, it would be right at home in a collection of custom knives.  You can own this high quality handmade fighting knife for $499.99/obo.
