Offered for sale is a vintage Omega Constellation Officially Certified Chronometer wrist watch, Swiss-made, probably ca. late 1950s. This watch features a rose gold on steel screwback case (a stainless steel case with a rose gold bezel and rose gold caps over the lugs) with a rose gold observatory emblem on the back, a 24-jewel calibre 551 adjusted automatic movement, and a black “pie-pan” dial with rose gold applied hour markers. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of occasional wear and some minor toolmarks on the back. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. The dial appears to be an older refinish of average quality (note: the dial does not look as good in person as it does in the photographs). Some may say the dial needs to be refinished again, but I will leave that up to the buyer. Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to wear in style. This watch measures 34mm wide (without crown). You can own this high grade, attractive, ready-to-wear vintage chronometer watch, for $1199.99.
