Product Description

You are bidding on a vintage Tian Harlan Chromachron wrist watch, Swiss-made, probably ca. 1970s.  Some people call this a “Pac-Man” watch because the disc in the center of the dial looks like a character from the Pac-Man video game of the late 1970s/early 1980s.  This watch features a square chromium case, a 17-jewel manual-wind movement, and a very unusual dial consisting of twelve divisions of different colors.  The black disc in the center has a wedge cut into it that indicates the hour as it passes over the different color divisions (there is no minute indicator).  The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of occasional wear.  The movement runs and keeps excellent time.  The dial is in excellent original condition.  Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  This watch measures 29mm wide (without crown) x 37mm lug-to-lug.  Fitted with a leather strap.  If you like mid 20th century modern watches, you will certainly enjoy this one that truly exemplifies the style of that period.  You can own this very unusual, attractive, highly collectible, ready-to-wear vintage watch, for $399.99/obo.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.

NOTE: I do not guarantee water resistance in any antique, vintage, or pre-owned watch I sell, regardless of its manufacturer’s original water resistance rating, and I do not recommend taking any antique, vintage, or pre-owned watch in water to begin with.
