Product Description

You are bidding on a vintage solid .900 silver lighter, made in Shanghai, China, ca. 1940s.  This lighter features engraving on the front side indicating that the lighter was owned by a captain in the Marine Corps who served in Occupied Japan in 1946 and 1947.  The reverse side features fancy hand-engraving of what appears to be Mount Fuji and a pagoda.  The lighter is marked “Sterling 900″ on the bottom.  The lighter is in good used condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry.  The inner mechanical components are made by Zippo in the USA (the insert is newer than the outer casing).  This lighter is a great crossover collectible of interest to lighter collectors, military buffs and history buffs alike. Needs only flint and fluid to work.  You can own this great vintage fancy silver lighter for $199.99.
