Antique Movado Ermeto Chronometer Leather Covered Purse/Travel Watch

Offered for sale is antique Movado Ermeto Chronometer Purse Watch or travel watch, Swiss made, circa 1920-1930.  This watch features a dark brown snake skin covered case, a manual wind chronometer grade movement (the movement is wound when the case is opened and closed, or can be wound by turning the crown), and a two-toned silver matte  dial with gold applied hour markers.  The case is in good condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry.  The outer snake skin covering is worn through on one corner of the case (see photograph).  When open, there is a retractable stand that allows the watch to stand upright on a table or nightstand.  The dial is in excellent original condition.  The movement is in good running order.  Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to use.  Size: 49mm long X 34mm wide when closed, or 75mm x 34mm when opened.  You can own this very high grade, attractive Swiss made purse watch, from a time when Movado watches were regarded as some of the finest in the world, for $399.99/obo.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
