Offered for sale is an antique Waltham (USA)  Model 1888 hunting case pocket watch, circa 1897.  This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 53mm (2-1/8″) diameter.  This watch features a Keystone yellow gold filled hinged back and bezel case with an engine-turned design on the front and back, a 7-jewel stem-wind stem-set model 1888 movement, and a single-sunk porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blue steel spade hands. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of occasional pocket carry.  There is a personal engraving in the small cartouche on the front.  The dial is in excellent condition, showing one crack near the center of the dial.  The movement runs and keeps excellent time.  Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  You can own this clean, American-made pocket watch, for $399.99/obo.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
