Bulova Vintage 14K Gold Deco Wrist Watch, Fancy Lugs

Offered for sale is a vintage Bulova wrist watch, made in USA, probably ca. 1940s.  This watch features a solid 14K yellow gold Deco style rectangular case with fancy lugs, a 21-jewel calibre #7AK manual-wind movement, and a black matte dial with gold applied hour markers and a subsidiary seconds hand at the 6 o’clock position.  The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of occasional wear.  The movement runs and keeps excellent time.  The dial appears to be an older refinish of excellent quality.  Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  This watch measures 21mm wide x 39mm lug-to-lug.  Signed case, dial, and movement.  Fitted with a black leather strap.  The case without the movement weighs 0.37 troy ounce (as of March 8, 2022, the gold content alone is worth around $450.00).  You can own this high grade, attractive, ready-to-wear vintage watch from one of the world’s most famous makers, for $499.99/obo.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
