Gruen Curvex Precision 370 Vintage 14k YGF Deco Wrist Watch, Fancy 43mm Case

Offered for sale is a vintage Gruen Curvex wrist watch, probably circa 1940s.  Gruen was a Swiss-American watch company based in Cincinnati, Ohio.  They made their movements in Switzerland and their cases in the USA, and finished the watches in the USA.  The Curvex watches are known for having a curvature to fit the contour of the wrist. This watch features a 10k yellow gold filled Deco style curved rectangular case, a 17-jewel calibre #370 manual-wind movement, and a silver satin dial with a subsidiary seconds hand at the 6 o’clock position.  The case is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional wear.  The movement is in excellent running order.  The dial is in good original condition, showing a patina appropriate for its age.  Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  Size: 22.5mm wide x 43mm lug-to-lug.  Fitted with a black leather strap.  You can own this high grade, attractive Swiss made wrist watch, from a time when watches really had style, for $599.99.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact or email me.
