Offered for sale is a vintage Hamilton “Tonneau” wrist watch, ca. 1920s.  This watch features a 14k white gold filled Deco style case with a fancy embossed pattern on the sides, a 17-jewel calibre 987 manual wind movement, and a two-toned silver satin and white matte dial with luminous hands and hour markers (Note: the luminosity has faded over time and does not glow as brightly as when new).  The case is in very good condition overall, showing signs of occasional wear.  The movement is in excellent running order.  The dial is in good original condition, showing a patina appropriate for its age (note: the luminous material may have been replaced at one time).  Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  Size: 27.5mm wide x 34mm lug-to-lug.  Signed case, dial, and movement.  Fitted with a black leather strap.
