Offered for sale is a vintage Hamilton “Turner” wrist watch, circa 1955. The “Turner” model is similar in style to Hamilton’s “Donald” model, but the Turner is 10K gold while the Donald is 14K gold. This watch features a solid 10k gold Art Deco style rectangular case, a 22-jewel calibre #770 manual wind movement, and a silver matte dial with gold applied hour markers and a subsidiary seconds hand at the 6 o’clock position. The case is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional wear. The watch was presented as an appreciation award to an employee for 25 years of service and dates the watch to 1955. The movement is in excellent running order. The dial appears to be in good original condition, and shows a slight patina. Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. Size: 20mm wide x 36mm lug-to-lug.
