Tim Britton Custom Handmade Hunting Knife w/Sheath

Offered for sale is a custom fixed-blade hunting knife, hand-made in USA by Tim Britton of Winston-Salem, NC, probably circa 1970s.  Tim Britton has been making custom knives since 1971.  This knife features a stainless steel drop-point blade, full tang construction, brass hilt, and wood handle scales.  The blade is 3-1/4″ long and almost 3/16″ thick at the hilt.  Overall length is 7-1/2″.  The blade is tang stamped “Britton.”   The blade appears to be at least 99% intact, showing signs of light pitting.  The handle scales are in excellent condition, with no visible cracks or chips.  The fit and finish is superb.  The knife includes a custom leather sheath by George Aurit of Montana (probably original to the knife).  This knife is very well made, and will provide many years of service with proper care.  Or, it would be right at home in a collection of custom knives.  You can own this very high quality handmade knife from a very highly regarded maker, for $399.99.
