Offered for sale is a custom fixed-blade hunting knife, hand-made in USA by Tim Britton of Winston-Salem, NC, probably circa 1970s. Tim Britton has been making custom knives since 1971. This knife features a stainless steel drop-point blade, full tang construction, brass hilt, and wood handle scales. The blade is 3-1/4″ long and almost 3/16″ thick at the hilt. Overall length is 7-1/2″. The blade is tang stamped “Britton.” The blade appears to be at least 99% intact, showing signs of light pitting. The handle scales are in excellent condition, with no visible cracks or chips. The fit and finish is superb. The knife includes a custom leather sheath by George Aurit of Montana (probably original to the knife). This knife is very well made, and will provide many years of service with proper care.
