Vietnam War Era Zippo Lighter 1969, H&MS 17

Offered for sale is a vintage full-size Zippo lighter of the Vietnam War era in a brushed chrome finish, circa 1969 ( III Zippo II ).  The lighter features a saying on the caseback that reads “If you can’t eat it, or drink it, F*** it.”  The front of the lighter is engraved “To Capt. Mo, For our Matchless Aviator, from H&MS17 Raggies.”  The lighter was probably engraved by a US soldier in the Vietnam War theatre, and was owned by a soldier who served in the Headquarters & Maintenance Squadron 17 during the Vietnam War.  The lighter is in very good condition, showing signs of normal use and carry (it is actually in rather nice shape for a lighter that may have been carried in combat).  The chrome is 99% intact.  Needs only flint and fluid to work.  This is a great crossover collectible of interest to both lighter collectors and military buffs.  You can own this great vintage Zippo lighter for $99.99.
