Vintage 950 Silver Book Shaped Florentine Lighter with Blank Cartouche

Offered for sale is a vintage Unbranded 950 Silver lighter, probably made in Japan circa 1950s.  This is a book shaped lighter with a fancy Florentine design on the front and back along with a blank cartouche on the front.  The lighter is in excellent used condition.  The hinge wobbles very slightly, though the lid closes correctly.  The bottom of the case is stamped “Silver 950.”  The unbranded inner mechanical components are similar to that of a much more famous lighter whose name I cannot mention here (let’s call it Brand Z).  This lighter will accept a full-size Brand Z insert. I have seen many silver Florentine lighters, but very few in the shape of a book like this one.  Needs only flint and fluid to work.  You can own this great vintage lighter for $249.99.
