Description
Offered for sale is a Buck 124 “Frontiersman” fixed-blade hunting knife, circa 1973-1986. This knife features a 420HC stainless steel Straight-Back blade, an aluminum hilt and pommel, full-tang construction, and a black Micarta handle. The blade is 6-3/4″ long and 1/8″ thick at the hilt. Overall length is 11-3/4″. The blade is tang stamped “Buck 124 U.S.A.” Prior to 1968, Buck knives were stamped “Buck.” In 1968, Buck added “USA” to the tang stamp. By 1973, the model number was added, and by 1986, date code symbols were added to the tang stampings. The knife is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional use and carry. The blade appears to be about 99% intact, and shows some minor pitting. The knife comes with the original leather Buck sheath. This knife is very well made and will provide many years of service with proper care. Or it would be right at home in a collection of fixed blade knives. You can own this high quality vintage American hunting knife for $299.99. |
