Offered for sale is a vintage Omega Constellation Officially Certified Chronometer wrist watch, Swiss made, probably ca. 1966. This watch features a solid stainless steel screwback case with an observatory emblem on the back, a 24-jewel calibre #564 automatic chronometer-grade movement, a date display at the 3 o’clock position, and a silver dial with silver applied non-numeric hour markers. The date can be quick-set by pulling and pushing the crown repeatedly until the correct date is displayed. The case is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional wear. The crown appears to have been replaced. The movement is in excellent running order. The dial is in very good original condition, showing a patina appropriate for its age. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. This watch measures 35mm wide (without crown). Fitted with its original stainless steel Omega “Beads of Rice” watch bracelet. The bracelet will fit wrists up to 7″ and can be made smaller by adjusting the clasp or removing links.
