Offered for sale is a Randall Made Model 5-7 Camp & Trail fixed-blade Hunting knife, hand-made in Orlando, Florida USA, probably circa 1960s. Randall Made Knives was founded by W.D. Randall and are considered highly regarded knifemakers who opened for business in 1938. Bo Randall passed away in 1989. His son, Gary and his grandchildren, Jason and Michael, still handmake the custom knives on the market today. This knife features a carbon steel clip point blade with thumb grooves near the hilt for better grip, a brass single hilt, and a wood handle (Probably Desert Ironwood). The wood handle is an extra cost option on this model when ordered from Randall. The blade is 7″ long and almost 1/4″ thick at the hilt. Overall length is approximately 11-3/4″. The blade is tang stamped “Randall Made Orlando, FLA” lengthwise on the blade. The knife is in excellent used condition overall. The blade appears to be about 99% intact and shows evidence of minor pitting in a few spots. The wood handle is in excellent condition. The knife includes a custom made roughback leather sheath by Randall Made Knives (Note: The sheath originally had a pouch for a sharpening stone but the pouch and stone are missing. The original owner probably removed it to reduce weight). This knife is very well made, and will provide many years of service with proper care. Or, it would be right at home in a collection of custom knives. If you were to order this knife from Randall, you would probably receive it in about five years, since their workshop is so backed up with orders. If you would rather not wait for your Randall, you can own this one today for $899.99.
