Offered for sale is a custom Wayne Hendrix Y2K fixed-blade hunting knife, hand-made in Allendale, South Carolina USA, circa 2000. Wayne Hendrix started making knives in the early 1980s, and was trained by the late George Herron, a past president of the Knifemakers Guild and one of the best knifemakers of his time. This knife features a stainless steel hollow-ground mirror-polished semi-skinner blade, a stainless steel hilt, full tapered tang construction, and red micarta handle scales. The blade is 3-3/8″ long and 1/8″ thick at the hilt. Overall length is 7-1/2″. The blade is tang stamped Hendrix Y2K, and the underside of the tang is stamped with the number 085. The knife is in excellent, like-new condition overall. The blade appears to be unsharpened. The handle is in excellent condition. The fit and finish is superb. The knife includes a custom right handed leather sheath. This knife is very well made, and will provide many years of service with proper care.
