Vintage Helbros Golden Panda Gold Plated Chronograph Wrist Watch, Valjoux 23

Offered for sale is a vintage Helbros “golden panda” mens chronograph wrist watch, probably circa 1960s or 1970s.  The movement was made in Switzerland and the case was made in France.  This watch features a gold plated case with a stainless steel screw back, a 17-jewel Valjoux 23 manual-wind chronograph movement with 60-second and 30-minute recording functions, and a gold satin dial with black subdials, applied hour markers and a tachymeter scale.  The case is in very good condition, showing signs of normal wear.  The movement runs and keeps excellent time, and the chronograph functions work correctly.  The dial is in excellent original condition.  Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to wear.  This watch measures 37mm wide.  Fitted with a leather strap.  You can own this attractive, collectible, ready-to-wear vintage chronograph watch with the highly desirable Valjoux 23 movement, for $999.99.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
