Offered for sale is an antique Waltham (USA) open faced pocket watch of the Art Deco period, circa 1930. This is a 12-size watch, and measures approximately 1-3/4″ (44mm) diameter. This watch features a 14k white gold filled snap-back-and-bezel case. The watch also features a 17-jewel stem-wind stem-set 1924 Colonial B model No 1235 grade movement, and a two-toned silver matte dial with gold numerals and a secometer seconds indicator above the 6 o’clock position. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of occasional pocket carry. There is a personal engraving on the caseback indicating that the watch was presented as a sales award to an employee of Graham-Paige automobiles in 1932. The movement is in excellent running order. The dial is in excellent original condition. Included with the watch is its original box. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.
