Offered for sale is an antique Waltham (USA) hunting-case pocket watch, probably circa 1908. This is a 18-size watch, and measures approximately 2-1/4″ (56mm) diameter. This watch features a 3-ounce solid sterling silver hunting case with a very fancy floral design combined with an intricate engine turned pattern on both the front and back. The watch also features a 17-jewel grade 825 stem-wind lever-set movement, and a white porcelain dial with Roman numerals. The case is in excellent condition, showing evidence of light pocket carry. There is a blank cartouche on the front. The movement is in good running order. The dial is in excellent condition, with no visible cracks or chips. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.
