Waltham Vanguard 16s 23j Railroad Pocket Watch, 10K YGF Case, Canadian Dial

Offered for sale is an antique Waltham Vanguard (USA) Model 1908 open-faced railroad grade pocket watch, circa 1953.  This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50.5mm (2″) diameter.  This watch was made for both Canadian and American railroad service, as the dial has a 13-24 hour inner time track.  This watch features a Star 10K yellow gold filled screw-back-and-bezel case, a 23-jewel adjusted stem-wind lever-set movement, and a single-sunk painted metal dial with Arabic numerals and black steel spade hands.
