Description
Offered for sale is a Zenith pocket watch, Swiss-Made, ca. 1910s. It is my belief that this watch was made for Canadian Railroad service. This is a size 16 watch, and measures 54mm (2-1/8″). This watch features a nickel silver case, a stem-wind stem-set 15 jewel movement, and comes with a single-sunk white porcelain dial with black roman numerals and a red 13 to 24 hour track, and black steel spade hands. The dial is in excellent condition except for a minor chip on the edge near the 4 o’clock position which is visible only when the bezel is removed. The movement runs and keeps very good time. The hinged-back and snap bezel case is in good condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry. The glass crystal, which I believe is original to the watch, shows surface scratches from normal pocket wear. Signed case, movement and dial. The inner cuvette has an engraving that states “Grand Prix Paris 1900.” You can own this antique Swiss-made pocket watch, for $399.99/obo.
