Elgin 16s 21j BW Raymond Stainless Steel Railroad Pocket Watch, Montgomery Dial

Offered for sale is an vintage Elgin BW Raymond open-faced railroad pocket watch, made in USA circa 1952.  This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2″) diameter.  This watch features a genuine Elgin (by Star Watch Case Co) stainless steel screw-back-and-bezel case, a 21-jewel stem-wind lever-set Grade 571 movement, and comes with a white single sunk porcelain dial with black numerals and blue steel spade hands.  The case is in very good condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry.  The Montgomery dial is in excellent original condition.  The glass crystal has a minor chip on the edge.  The movement runs and keeps excellent time  Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride.  You can own this high grade, highly collectible, antique American-made pocket watch, for $499.99/obo.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
