Elgin Father Time Antique 16s 21j YGF Railroad Pocket Watch, Montgomery Dial

Offered for sale is an antique Elgin National Watch Co. Father Time Railroad pocket watch, made in USA ca. 1919.  This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2″) diameter.  This watch features a yellow gold filled open faced case with an engine turned design and a blank cartouche on the caseback, a 21-jewel Grade 454 stem-wind lever-set movement, and comes with a white double sunk porcelain Montgomery dial with black Arabic numerals and blue steel spade hands.  The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry and some very light brassing (noticeable only if you look very closely).  The dial is in excellent condition, showing no visible cracks or chips.  The movement runs and keeps excellent time.   You can own this high grade, collectible, antique American-made pocket watch, for $499.99/obo.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
