Favre-Leuba Twin Power Vintage Stainless Steel Wrist Watch

Offered for sale is a vintage Favre-Leuba Twin Power wrist watch, probably circa 1960s.  This watch features a solid stainless steel screwback case, a 17-jewel manual-wind movement of a rather unusual design that uses two mainsprings to deliver more consistent power than single-mainspring designs, and a silver matte dial with applied hour markers.  The watch is in excellent working condition overall, showing signs of occasional wear.  The dial is in good original condition, showing a slight patina.  Size: 33mm diameter.  Although Favre-Leuba watches are not well known in the USA, they are very highly regarded in Europe and elsewhere.  (Itex OK)
