Frey Military Style Vintage Chromium/Steel Manual Wind Wrist Watch, 1940s

Description

Offered for sale is a vintage Frey military style wrist watch, Swiss made, probably circa 1940s.  This watch features a chromium plated case with a stainless steel screw back, a 15-jewel manual wind movement, and a two-toned silver dial with luminous hands and hour markers (Note:  the luminosity has faded over time and does not glow as brightly as when new).  The case is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of normal wear.  The movement runs and keeps excellent time.  I serviced the movement and fitted a new acrylic crystal in August 2024.  The dial is in excellent original condition, showing a slight patina.  This watch measures 35mm diameter (without crown).  Fitted with a black leather two-piece strap.  If you like the 1940s look in watches, you will certainly enjoy this one that truly exemplifies the 1940s style.  You can own this very attractive automatic Swiss made , military styled vintage wrist watch, for $299.99.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
