Description
Offered for sale is an antique Hamilton 992b open-faced Railway Special pocket watch, made in USA probably circa 1952. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50.5mm (2″) diameter. This watch features a Hamilton Model #2 (by Wadsworth) 10k yellow gold-filled bar-over-crown screw back and bezel case, a 21-jewel adjusted stem-wind lever-set Railroad Grade 992b movement, and a single-sunk melamine Railway Special dial with Arabic numerals and black steel spade hands. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry and some very light brassing around the edges of the caseback (noticeable only if you look very closely). The dial is in excellent original condition. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. I serviced the movement in June 2026. Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. You can own this very high grade, American-made pocket watch, for $599.99.
