Hamilton 992E Elinvar 21j 16s 10k YGF Model 2 Pocket Watch, Montgomery Dial

Offered for sale is a vintage Hamilton 992E open-faced railroad pocket watch, made in USA probably circa 1939.  This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 51mm (2″) diameter.  This watch features a genuine Hamilton (by Wadsworth) 10k yellow gold filled bar-over-crown screw back and bezel case, a 21-jewel adjusted stem-wind lever-set Grade 992 Elinvar movement, and a double-sunk Montgomery dial with Arabic numerals and black steel spade hands.   The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry with some minor brassing on the underside of the bow.  The bow is tight.  The dial is in excellent original condition, showing no visible cracks or chips.  The movement runs and keeps excellent time.  Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  You can own this very high grade, American-made pocket watch, for $699.99.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
