Offered for sale is a vintage Longines wrist watch, Swiss-made, probably ca. 1940s.  This watch features a solid 14K white gold Deco style round case with a fancy textured pattern on the bezel, a 17-jewel calibre 19.4 manual-wind movement, and a silver satin dial with diamonds set into all the hour markers and 4 diamonds set into the hour markers at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions.  The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of occasional wear.   The movement runs and keeps excellent time.  The dial appears to be an older refinish of very good quality, and shows a slight patina.  Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  This watch measures 33mm diameter (w/o Crown).  The case without the movement weighs 0.41 troy ounce.  Signed case, dial, and movement.  Fitted with a leather strap.  You can own this high grade, attractive, ready-to-wear vintage watch from one of the world’s most highly regarded makers, for $1899.99/obo.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
