Description
Offered for sale is a vintage Schrade SC507 semi-custom folding lockback hunting knife, made in USA probably circa early 1980s. This knife was customized at the Schrade factory, by taking a stock SC507 knife and turning it into an awesome custom knife by adding stag handle scales, engraving, and filework. This knife features a stainless steel clip point blade, stag handle scales, integral brass bolsters and liners with fancy Florentine engraving on the bolsters, and fancy filework on the spine of the blade and on the locking lever. Length closed is 5″ and length open is 8-3/4″. The blade is tang stamped “Schrade+ U.S.A SC507” and “Limited Edition” is etched lengthwise down the blade. The knife is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional use and carry. The blade appears to be at least 99% intact. There is no sheath with this knife but many quality sheaths can be found on Ebay. The knife will fit into most sheaths designed for a Schrade LB7, Buck 110, or similar knives. This knife is very well made, and will provide many more years of service with proper care. Or, it would be right at home in a collection of American pocket knives. You can own this very high quality, highly collectible vintage semi-custom pocket knife for $249.99.
