Offered for sale is a vintage Shinola Argonite 1069 “Runwell” wrist watch, assembled in Detroit, Michigan USA from a combination of American and imported parts, probably circa 2013-2020.  Shinola was founded in 2011 by a group of people with a desire to revitalize a rundown section of Detroit, create jobs, and re-establish a watchmaking industry in America.  They produced their first watches in 2013, and the Runwell was the first model they produced. This watch features a stainless steel case, a sapphire crystal, a quartz movement, a white dial with luminous hands, and a subsidiary seconds hand at the 6 o’clock position.  The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal wear.  The movement runs and keeps excellent time.  The dial is in excellent condition.  Comes with its original wooden box and leather care balm for the strap, however there is no padding in the box to hold the watch.  Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  This is a BIG watch, and measures 47mm wide x 51.5mm lug-to-lug.  Fitted with the original American made Shinola black leather strap.  You can own this high quality, attractive, ready-to-wear watch, for $399.99.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
