Description
Offered for sale is a vintage Scripto VU-Lighter, ca. 1960s. This lighter features an advertisement for Wurlitzer Stereophonic Music. Wurlitzer has been in business since 1853, and is probably best known for their jukeboxes. They also made pianos, organs, and other musical instruments. Wurlitzer has changed hands many times over the years, and today is owned by Gibson, a leading maker of guitars. The lighter is in very good condition overall, showing signs of normal pocket carry. Scripto started out in 1924 as M.A. Ferst Company and manufactured pencils, pens and mechanical pencils. They did not start making the Vu-lighters until 1955. Needs only flint and fluid to work. You can own this great vintage Scripto lighter for $79.99/obo.
