W.C. Davis Custom Handmade Drop Point Folding Lockback Hunting Knife

Offered for sale is a custom handmade folding hunting knife, made in USA by W.C. “Bill” Davis, ca. 2000.  This knife is based on a design by the legendary knifemaker Bob Loveless.  W.C. Davis started making knives in 1973, and was admitted to the Knifemakers Guild in 1974.  W.C. Davis passed away in 2015.  This knife features a stainless steel drop-point blade, integral aluminum bolsters and liners, and blonde micarta handle scales with lanyard hole.  The handle scales are dovetailed into the bolsters.  The blade is 3-1/4″ long and 1/8″ thick at the hilt.  Overall length open 7-7/8″. Length closed is 4-5/8″.  The blade is tang stamped W.C. Davis.  The knife is in excellent, like-new condition overall, showing signs of occasional handling.  The handle scales are in excellent condition.  The fit and finish is superb.  This knife is very well made, and will provide many years of service with proper care.  Or, it would be right at home in a collection of custom knives.  You can own this very high quality custom knife for $599.99.
