Offered for sale is a very fancy vintage Judaica pendant, in solid 14K yellow gold with turquoise stones. The pendant appears to be hand made, and is in the shape of an antique cylindrical Torah case with a crown on top. There are four robin’s egg turquoise stones in the crown, each stone measuring approximately 6mm x 8mm. On the front of the pendant is an intricate cutout of a Star of David above two tablets of the Ten Commandments, with cutouts of Hebrew letters representing each commandment. The pendant opens to reveal a small Torah hanging inside. The door is held closed by a spring. There is a mark (possibly a maker’s mark) on the inside that appears to be O.S.R.S. (I do not know what it stands for). I could not find any hallmarks, but the pendant tests as 14K gold. The pendant measures 40mm high x 22.5mm wide, and weighs 17.5 grams (0.57 troy ounce). One of the photographs shows the pendant next to a quarter and a dime for size comparison. The pendant is in excellent condition overall.
