Offered for sale is a Fortis Flieger GMT Chronograph Chronometer wrist watch, Swiss made, probably ca. 2000s.  Case reference number 598.10.151.1.  This watch features a stainless steel screwback case with a non-reflective finish, a automatic chronometer-grade chronograph movement with 60-second, 30-minute,12-hour recording functions, a 24-hour GMT subdial, a date display at the 5 o’clock position, and a black dial with luminous hands and hour markers.  The hour hand can be set independently of the minute hand to facilitate setting the watch to different time zones.  The GMT subdial can display a separate time zone from the hour hand. The case is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional wear.  The movement is in excellent running order.  The dial is in excellent original condition.  Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to wear in style or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  This watch measures 40mm wide (without crown).  Fitted with a matching stainless steel bracelet.  The bracelet will fit a wrist size up to 7-1/4″ and can be made smaller by adjusting the clasp or removing links.  You can own this very high grade, attractive Swiss made wrist watch, for $2999.99.  As of this writing, I have seen the same model watch offered elsewhere online for more than twice as much money.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
