Description
Offered for sale is a Sears Craftsman by Camillus folding hunting knife, made in USA probably circa 1970s or 1980s. At the time this knife was made, Sears Craftsman tools were regarded as some of the best made, and came with a lifetime warranty. This knife features a stainless steel clip-point blade, integral nickel silver bolsters and liners, and jigged bone handle scales. The blade is 3-3/4″ long and 1/8″ thick at the hilt. Overall length open 8-5/8″. Length closed is 5″. The blade is tang stamped “Sears Craftsman USA 95226” The knife is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional use and carry. The blade appears to be at least 99% intact, “walks and talks” and locks up tight. The handle scales are in excellent condition. Included with the knife is a leather sheath. This knife is very well made, and will provide many more years of service with proper care, or it would be right at home in a collection of American pocket knives. Now that Sears has closed most of their stores and Camillus Cutlery is no longer in business, the USA-made Craftsman-by-Camillus knives have become very collectible. You can own this very high quality American folding hunting knife for $79.99.
