Offered for sale is a vintage solid .925 sterling silver lighter with 18K Gold applique, made in Peru ca. 1950s or 1960s. The lighter features a hand-made silver case with a hammered finish on all sides and an 18k gold applied Peruvian (Inca) design on the front. There is also a silver Inca design on the caseback and lid of the front. The lighter is marked “Peru, 18k, 925, 8973” on the bottom of the lighter. The lighter is in excellent condition overall, showing signs of occasional pocket carry. The inner mechanical components are made by Zippo in the USA. Needs only flint and fluid to work.
