Description
Offered for sale is a Buck 120 General fixed-blade hunting knife, probably circa 1970s. This knife features a stainless steel clip point blade, an aluminum hilt and pommel, and a black phenolic handle. The blade is 7-3/8″ long and 1/8″ thick at the hilt. Overall length is 12″. The blade has the tang stamp of “Buck 120 U.S.A.” Prior to 1968, Buck knives were stamped “Buck.” In 1968, Buck added “USA” to the tang stamp. By 1973, the model number was added, and by 1986, date code symbols were added to the tang stampings. The knife is in good condition overall, showing signs of normal use and carry. The blade appears to be about 98% intact and has been sharpened. Comes with its original black leather sheath. This knife is very well made, and will provide many years of service with proper care. Or, it would be right at home in a collection of fixed blade knives. You can own this high quality vintage American hunting knife for $149.99.
