Description
Offered for sale is a vintage full-size Zippo lighter in a brushed chrome finish, ca. 1976 ( /// zippo /// ). This lighter features a one-color graphic of the Atchinson, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad logo. The logo states “Santa Fe All The Way.” The logo might be considered “politically incorrect” today, because it depicts a caricature of an American Indian. The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad (AT&SF), was founded in 1859 and was one of the larger railroads in the United States. It stayed in operation until 1996 when it merged with the Burlington Northern Railroad. The lighter is in near-mint condition in its original box, showing signs of occasional handling. The paint and chrome are 100% intact. Needs only flint and fluid to work. This is a great crossover collectable piece to both lighter buffs and Railroad enthusiasts. You can own this great vintage Zippo lighter for $249.99.
