Offered for sale is a custom Lorenzo (Larry) R. Hendricks model XLH-4 fixed-blade hunting knife, hand-made in USA, ca. 1975. Hendricks was a member of the Knifemakers’ Guild, and passed away in 1989. This knife features a stainless steel upswept blade, an aluminum hilt and pommel, hidden tang construction, and a very finely sculptured wood handle with a single finger grip. The blade is 3-1/4″ long and 3/16″ thick at the hilt. Overall length is 8-1/4″. The blade is etched lengthwise with “Hendricks 75” and is tang stamped XLH-4. The knife is in excellent, like-new condition overall. The blade appears to be unsharpened. The handle is in excellent condition. The fit and finish is superb. The knife includes a custom Hendricks-made right handed leather sheath. This knife is very well made, and will provide many years of service with proper care.
