Henry Torres ABS Master Smith Custom Handmade Drop Point Hunting Knife

Offered for sale is a custom handmade Henry Torres fixed-blade hunting knife, made in USA circa 2020. Henry Torres starting serious knifemaking in 2004 and is a Master Smith of the American Bladesmith Society. Torres earned his Master Smith rank in 2008, and specializes in hand forged fixed blade knives. This knife features a hand-forged high carbon steel drop-point blade with a visible temper line (hard to see in the photographs), a nickel silver single hilt, hidden tang construction, and a stag handle. The blade is differentially heat treated, in that the cutting edge is hardened to improve edge retention while the rest of the blade has a more resilient temper to resist fracturing if bent. The blade is 4″ long and slightly over 1/8″ thick (0.165″) at the hilt. Overall length is 8-1/4″. The blade is tang stamped “Henry T” on one side and has the MS Master Smith mark on the other side. I purchased this knife directly from the maker. The knife is in excellent, like-new condition overall. The blade is 100% intact. The handle is in excellent condition. The fit and finish is superb. The knife includes a leather sheath. This knife is very well made, and will provide many years of service with proper care. Or, it would be right at home in a collection of custom knives.
